  • Total Time: 1 hour 20 minutes

Description

Whip up these no-bake Tiramisu Truffles in just 7 simple steps! Creamy, coffee-kissed, and covered in chocolate, perfect for parties, gifts, or indulgent treats.

Ingredients

Scale

    • 8 oz mascarpone cheese, room temperature

    • 1 cup ladyfinger cookies, finely crushed

    • 2 tbsp strong brewed coffee, cooled

    • 2 tbsp coffee liqueur (optional, can substitute with 1 tsp coffee extract)

    • 1/4 cup powdered sugar

    • 1 tsp vanilla extract

    • 1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
    • 1/4 cup dark chocolate chips, melted

Instructions

Prepare the base: In a large mixing bowl, whip the mascarpone cheese until it’s smooth and creamy.

Add flavor: Mix in crushed ladyfingers, coffee, coffee liqueur (if using), powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until well combined.

Form the truffles: Scoop out portions of the mixture with a small cookie scoop or spoon, then roll into 1-inch balls and arrange them on a parchment-lined tray.

Chill: Refrigerate for 30 minutes to help the truffles firm up.

Melt the chocolate: While chilling, melt the chocolate chips in 30-second intervals in the microwave, stirring between each until smooth.

Dip the truffles: Dip each chilled ball in melted chocolate and let the excess drip off before placing them back on the tray.

Finish and chill again: Dust with cocoa powder and refrigerate for another 30 minutes, or until chocolate is fully set. Serve chilled.

Notes

Keep refrigerated in an airtight container for up to 5 days.

For extended storage, freeze for up to 1 month and thaw in the refrigerator before serving.

Omit coffee liqueur for an alcohol-free version, use more strong coffee instead.

Substitute ladyfingers with graham crackers or vanilla wafers for a unique twist.

Add a pinch of sea salt to the chocolate for a deeper flavor.

Overbeating mascarpone or using warm coffee can ruin the texture, keep ingredients cool.
